Labelexpo Asia 2023, the region’s largest label and package printing technology event, will celebrate its 20th anniversary when the show opens at the Shanghai New International Expo Center (SNIEC) on December 5-8.
Labelexpo Asia was originally located in Singapore before moving to Shanghai in 2003. Since then, the China-based Labels Group portfolio has expanded to include Labelexpo Asia and Labelexpo South China, taking place in alternate years, the Label Day series of regional summits, and other core products including Labels & Labeling China, Label News China and Label Academy China.
By working closely with local associations and media, the Labels Group in Asia has established an impressive industry database including nearly 200,000 printers, suppliers and end users.
At the same time, Labelexpo Asia has expanded its global visitor base in a growing number of end use sectors, building a bridge for buyers and sellers in nearly 100 countries.
Kevin Liu, China Project Director of Labelexpo Global Series commented: ‘In the past four years, the label and packaging industries both at home and abroad have developed a range of exciting new equipment which will be presented at Labelexpo Asia 2023 all under one roof. We expect more than 350 domestic and foreign exhibitors to gather in halls E1, E2 and E3 of SNIEC in a space of over 30,000 square meters.’
Continued Liu, ‘Visitors to Labelexpo Asia can expect to see the integration of labels and flexible packaging, labels and folding cartons, the latest technological achievements in RFID, material innovations, and cutting-edge technologies and products related to intelligent manufacturing on site.’
Labelexpo Asia 2023 will also provide a platform for shared learning throughout the label and packaging industry by jointly hosting the China International Label Packaging and Printing Summit with the China Packaging Federation.
Labelexpo Asia 2023 also features a dedicated forum on RFID Smart Label innovation and several Label Academy Masterclasses to give converters insight into industry trends and practice.
Commented Lisa Milburn, managing director Labelexpo Global Series, ‘Kevin and his team are on track once again to deliver a fantastic Labelexpo Asia show this December. We originally moved Labelexpo Asia from Singapore to Shanghai 20 years ago because we could see the potential for rapid development in the China labels market. Today that potential is being fully realized. Labelexpo Asia 2023 will be the leading industry event in the world’s fastest growing label and package printing market.’
