Labelexpo Asia 2019 Show Feedback

Andrea Glawe, Regional Sales Director Asia-Pacific, KROENERT GmbH & Co KG: "KROENERT attended Labelexpo Asia for the first time. We were highly impressed with the large number of visitors at our booth and the detailed discussions. The focus of KROENERT was to show the new developed double-side silicone coating system. The reactions from the visitors were very open minded. In addition we saw the interest in new label solutions, recycling trends, integration of RFID and NFC-technology in labels as well as new environmentally friendly concepts for chemicals. The show was for us a good opportunity to keep in contact with existing customers and meet new ones.”

Qiu Jianmin, CEO, Winbosc: "I am delighted to attend this exhibition. Our sales broke through the expected target. Winbosc not only signed cooperation agreements with six clients, but also gained a lot of prospective customers, especially our new Digi Spark digital stamping machine also obtained high praise. This show is also a good opportunity to communicate with industry peers which motivate us new ideas for future research. We look forward to Labelexpo Asia 2021."

Zhao Jiangwu, General Manager, HanGlobal: “From the development trend of global label industry, the digital train" is entering the label printing "station" and becoming a new hot spot of the packaging industry. This Labelexpo Asia is the most significant and most comprehensive technology exhibition in recent years. At the show, HanGlobal brought the industrial single pass digital label printer LabStar 330 for the first time at a major domestic industry exhibition. LabStar 330 has attracted many vital business customers exhibitors.”

Paul Hu, General Manager, Wanjie: “Labelexpo Asia 2019 is the most successful event ever. Both Wanjie latest 660mm-wide semi-rotary offset press showed in Flexible Packaging Arena and Digital King 350 digital press showed first time have been very eye-catching and received unanimous praise in the four days.”

Paolo Grasso, Head of Sales, Printing Division, OMET: “An extraordinary event which we love to attend as we have been pioneers in China and we continue to believe and to invest in this market. Surprisingly it’s been very populated by new Chinese suppliers of “hybrid” digital presses. Lots of finishing solutions for offline finishing of digitally printed labels. Very interesting. As OMET, we showcased the iFlex with full LED from CoolUV. Like every year it was the only international flexo machine on show, and it’s been highly appreciated by local and international companies for its simplicity in use and for the low cost-per-label it delivers. This was a fully loaded 12LED press with double cold foil and the Easy Change Die station for quick tools’ change. Attendance to the show was really good, including the one from foreign countries. Labelexpo is always an experience and deserves exhibition or visiting to learn what’s new and meeting old friends.”

Charlie Huang, Product Manager, Univacco Technology Inc: “With the digital printing market becoming popular in Asia, Univacco digital foils, the DF series, have drawn the attention from worldwide visitors successfully at Labelexpo Asia 2019. Customers love the unique raised effect with our digital foil.”

Epson China: “For Epson, Labelexpo Asia is definitely an effective and influential platform to demonstrate our digital inkjet products, solutions, and core technologies. We obtained many sales leads and realized 10+ units of spot sales. The visitors came from professional user bases, and they all took high credit of what Epson presented during the expo and the solutions and innovations we showcased. Thanks for organizer to provide this platform for us to prove the direction and strategy we adopt are correct. The future for the label industry is surely to be the blending of traditional and digital printing. And Epson will be right there for your ideal on-demand color label printing.”

Yan Jian Hai, General Manager, Shanghai Haoxi Technology: “As the distributor of Durst Label printing segment in China, Shanghai Haoxi Technology participated in Labelexpo Asia for the first time. Although the Durst label UV equipment could not be displayed on site due to time pressure, we achieved a very good publicity effect through our on-site samples, videos, outdoor and handbag advertisements and the press conference. And we signed the contract successfully during the show. We look forward to the next Labelexpo Asia.”
