HP ElectroInks to make Americas debut

HP (booths 3226 & 3429) will showcase a wide range of applications from worldwide converters that are transforming and growing business with HP Indigo’s LEP-based digital printing. Live demonstrations will include the full label and packaging web portfolio including the HP Indigo GEM unit for fully digital, single pass printing and embellishments on the HP Indigo 6900 digital press, showcasing new applications and effects.
The HP Indigo 8000 will be printing shrink sleeves and labels at 262ft/min (80m/min) in-line with the ABG Fast Track semi-rotary die.
A range of breakthrough HP Indigo ElectroInks for labels and packaging is an additional highlight, with HP Indigo ElectroInk Silver making its Americas debut. The ink supports a wide range of metallic colors and is enabling new, high-value digital applications with cost-effective production.
In the security zone, HP experts will present printing solutions for brand protection including anti-counterfeiting marks, track and trace, as well as process control. New covert inks will be demonstrated including HP Indigo ElectroInks yellow and blue.
The commercially available HP Indigo Pack Ready for Labels will also be displayed. The system enables production of high-resistance labels for food, household and chemical applications.
The enhanced HP Indigo 20000 digital press, for production of labels with high productivity, shrink sleeves and flexible packaging, will also be on the HP booth, running in-line with a new 30 inch unit designed for the press by ABG for coating and slitting.
