As further strengthening in North America between Gallus and Heidelberg, they will be jointly exhibiting at Labelexpo Americas 2018 (booth 6150).
Gallus’ new Smartfire digital label printing system will be unveiled to the North American market, and Heidelberg’s "4D" Omnifire 250 inkjet digital printer will be available for demonstrations.
The Gallus Smartfire prints with Memjet print heads in a quality of 1600×1600 dpi. It uses an ordinary power outlet, needs no exhaust equipment, is extremely compact, and emits no VOC (Volatile Organic Compounds), making it ideally suited for any work environment. With this digital press, only a few prepress skills are required to create professional CMYK 4-color inkjet labels. Additionally, a finishing unit is attached, where labels are laminated and cut.
The Omnifire 250 combines advanced Inkjet technology with high-precision robotics. The Omnifire 250 can personalize and customize most three-dimensional products. From a wine bottle to tumbler and beyond, the Omnifire gives customers the ability to change products over within seconds — providing shorter delivery times with on-demand printing.
