Bobst will run demonstrations on two production lines: the M6 Digital Flexo production line and the M1 in-line flexo press in its latest configuration.
The M6 will highlight the advantages of its Digital Flexo and Digital Automation workflow technology, including Revo 7-color extended gamut printing. The modular nature of the press means it can be configured for production of labels, flexible packaging and cartons.
The latest M1 IoT version is the first mechanical shaft connected label press in the industry and brings converters the benefits offered by connectivity.
Both presses will display the capabilities provided by their remote connectivity IoT features to exploit data to improve the production process, workflow and press room organization. During the demonstrations, visitors will be able to view in real time on a large screen next to the press, the production data available on the presenter’s mobile phone.
Mouvent – the digital printing competence center of the Bobst Group – will also be at the Bobst booth during the exhibition, displaying the groundbreaking technology behind its range of innovative digital UV and water based label printers. Attendees will have the opportunity to take a close-up look at the MouventTM Cluster, a radical new approach, which uses extremely compact and lightweight clusters instead of fixed size print bars by color, arranging them in a modular, scalable matrix. The result is one system that can be simply adapted for all substrates, of all widths, for all markets.
